Why preschools introduced standardised ELA tools and not just rely on worksheets?

The Azim Premji Foundation has released a handbook on comprehensive early learner assessment (ELA) tools for educators of India's pre-primary students. The handbook provides feedback to teachers and early childhood educators on a student's progress in areas of physical, social, emotional, cognitive, language, and creativity.
