किसानों पर अकाल साया मंडराया तो नुकसान की भरपाई का रास्ता निकाला
जी हां हम बात कर रहे हैं पाली जिला मुख्यालय के करीब स्थित हेमावास बांध की। सिंचाई विभाग ने जिले के हेमावास बांध, देसूरी के सेली की नाल, बाली के दांतीवाड़ा एवं सादड़ी के काना एवं सादड़ी बांध से सिल्ट निकालने की स्वीकृति दे दी है। गौरतलब है कि पाली जिले में इस वर्ष इन्ददेव की बेरुखी के चलते किसान खेतों में फसल नहीं उगा सके। इसके चलते किसानों पर अकाल साया मंडरा रहा है। आर्थिक रूप से टूट चुके इन धरतीपुत्रों ने अब इस नुकसान की भरपाई करने के लिए हेमावास बांध में जमी सिल्ट को निकालकर अपने खेतों में डालना शुरू किया है। सुबह 7 बजे से देर शाम तक हेमावास बांध से ट्रेक्टर, बुलडोजर एवं डम्पर से सिल्ट निकालने का कार्य युद्ध स्तर पर जारी है।

बांध की सिल्ट को खेतों में शिफ्ट करने से खेत उपजाऊ होंगे। किसानों का कहना है कि बांध की यह मिट्टी एक तरह से प्राकृतिक खाद है जो कि 20 वर्ष तक अच्छी उपज देगी जिसके चलते फसल की बुवाई करने पर फसल अच्छी होगी। साथ ही जिले के बांध से सिल्ट निकालने से इसकी भराव क्षमता करीब 150 एमसीएफटी बढ़ेगी। जिससे पेयजल और सिंचाई के लिए पहले से अधिक पानी उपलब्ध होगा। खास बात यह है कि इस मिट्टी को इन दिनों खेतों में शिफ्ट करने से रबी और खरीफ दोनों फसलें अच्छी होने से किसानों का लाभ होगा।
बांध की मिट्टी भी खाद का ही काम करती है
ऐसा नहीं है कि बांध की मिट्टी खेतों में ही ले जाई जा रही है, यह मिट्टी को खेतों के साथ बांधों के आसपास रहने वाले लोग बगीचों में डालने के लिए भी ले जा रहे हैं। बांध की इस मिट्टी का बगीचों में उपयोग करने से बगीचों में लगे पेड़ पौधों को खाद नहीं देने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। कृषि विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार बांध की मिट्टी भी खाद का ही काम करती है।
पाली शहर में 20 दिन तक पेयजलापूर्ति की जा सकेगी
पूर्व चेयरमैन, हेमावास बांध, गिरधारीसिंह मण्डली ने बताया कि इस बांध की भराव क्षमता 2219 एमसीएफटी है। जबकि हकीकत यह है कि इसमें गत 100 वर्षों में 12 से 13 फीट तो सिल्ट जमा हो चुकी है, इसलिए बांध में हकीकत में 2219 एमसीएफटी फीट पानी आता ही नहीं है। सिंचाई और पेयजल के लिए जब पानी का निर्धारण किया जाता है तो वितरण के वक्त सारी गणित गड़बड़ा जाती है। अब 3 फीट की खुदाई से बांध में करीब 150 एमसीएफटी पानी का अतिरिक्त भराव होगा जिससे पाली शहर में 20 दिन तक पेयजलापूर्ति की जा सकेगी।
यहां महिला मैकेनिक गैरेज यंत्रिका के बाहर लगे बैनर पर यह दावा किया जा रहा है कि अपने आप में इस तरह का देश का पहला गैराज है। इस गैराज के शुरू होने और महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने की यह पूरी कहानी प्रेरित करने वाली है।

इसके अंतर्गत महिलाओं को बाईक मैकेनिक का प्रशिक्षण देकर उन्हें मैकेनिक के व्यवसाय से जोड़ने का है। अब तक 300 से अधिक महिलाओं को बाईक मैकेनिक का प्रशिक्षण दिया गया और कई महिलाओं को विभिन्न सर्विस सेंटर पर मैकेनिक के रूप में जॉब दिलवाया गया।
पहले परिवार के पुरूष महिलाओं के मैकेनिक बनने का विरोध करते थे। लेकिन संस्था कार्यकर्ताओं ने हार नहीं मानी और अंतत महिलाएं खुद इस प्रशिक्षण के लिए आगे आई।
