UP sees 33% increase in Samagra Shiksha grant, to spend Rs 11,500 cr on improving elementary education

Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (UP) receives a 33% increase in funding for the academic year 2023-24, as confirmed by the Project Approval Board. The total grant of Rs 12,744.4 crore is divided among elementary education (Rs 11,525.3 crore), secondary education (Rs 996.27 crore), and teacher education (Rs 222.76 crore).
