Assam TET requirement lifted for Graduate, PG Teachers recruitment

The Assam government has passed a resolution that waives the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the appointment of teachers in the state. The move aims to simplify the recruitment process and provide a fair chance to deserving candidates for teaching positions. Instead, the government will conduct a TET-cum-Recruitment Test for Graduate and Post Graduate Teachers of Secondary Schools, with successful candidates being equal to the number of vacancies.
