DBU observes breastfeeding week

Desh Bhagat University's nursing faculty celebrated breastfeeding week in Chandigarh, stressing its pivotal role in child health. Breast milk's immunity-boosting properties and long-term benefits, such as reducing obesity and diabetes risks, were highlighted. The theme, "Let's make breastfeeding and work, work," underscored breastfeeding's importance in the workplace. The event thanked participants, with Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of the University, as chief guest. The initiative aimed to promote awareness about breastfeeding's significance for infant well-being.
