IGNOU degrees for Agniveers: IGNOU signs MoUs with Armed Forces for skill-based bachelor degree programmes, application begins

IGNOU has partnered with the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force to offer skill-based Bachelor degree programs for Agniveers. These programs combine discipline-based courses with skill courses and aim to improve employability post-service. The collaboration provides 120 credits, with IGNOU offering 60 credits and the Armed Forces offering the remaining 60 credits as in-service skill education. The admission process for the Indian Air Force commenced on August 1, 2023, with an exclusive Admission Portal for Agniveers. This initiative is a valuable step towards empowering and supporting the armed forces personnel through higher education.
