The first QS World University Rankings: Europe 2024 has been released, ranking 688 institutions across 42 European Council members. The rankings consider factors such as global recognition, teaching resources, research capabilities, internalization, and employment outcomes. The United Kingdom leads with 107 institutions, followed by Turkey and Germany. The University of Oxford tops the list, with 7 out of the top 10 universities in Europe being from the UK. The University of Edinburgh received a perfect score of 100 in the sustainability category. Prospective international students prefer the UK as their study destination, followed by Sweden and Italy.
