Geological Survey of India and Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation lead massive cleanliness campaign across India

The Geological Survey of India (GSI) organized a nationwide cleanliness drive on October 1, 2023, as part of the Government of India's swachhata campaign. Employees and volunteers cleaned thirty public locations and GSI offices across the country. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness, health, and hygiene, with a focus on combating Dengue. The event included cleaning activities, awareness drives, and special programs at geo-heritage sites. Government officials, civic authorities, and local residents actively participated in the cleaning work.
