Govt orders probe into students’ admission in PG courses with credit point below 24

The higher education department has instructed the chairman of state public universities and principals of degree colleges to investigate the admission of students with credit points below 24 in postgraduate (PG) courses. The University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines state that a minimum of 24 credit points is required for admission into PG courses.
