Women recruitment in govt jobs doubled since 2014: Union Minister Jitendra Singh

The recruitment of women in government jobs has doubled since 2014, according to Union Minister Jitendra Singh. He stated that the percentage of fresh women recruitments has increased from around 6-6.25% to 12-13% in the last nine years. Singh credited Prime Minister Modi for empowering women through initiatives such as the Women's Reservation Act and providing commissioned ranks to women in the armed forces. He also highlighted the representation of women in key positions in organizations like ISRO. Singh further mentioned that out of over 6.48 lakh appointees in the 10th Rozgar Mela, 1.1 lakh are women employees.
