Delhi schools to have a minimum of 220 working days in a year

Delhi schools must adhere to a minimum of 220 working days in an academic year as per the circular issued by the Delhi Directorate of Education. The heads of government schools must prepare and implement academic calendars to ensure the completion of the required working days. The Department of Education advised Deputy District Education officers to follow these guidelines before approving restricted or local holidays. Unaided recognized schools must also obtain permission from their management for holidays.
