Goa cancels GCET, adopts JEE-Main for 2024-25 admissions

Goa has made a significant change in its admission process for B.Tech and B.Pharm courses. The state has replaced the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) with the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) scores for admissions. The Centralized Admission Division announced that admissions for the 2024-2025 academic year will rely on JEE-Main 2024 results. Prospective candidates are advised to review the JEE-Main 2024 information bulletin. Admissions to B.Pharm. will be based on aggregate scores in Physics and Chemistry, either from JEE-Main 2024 or NEET-2024. The NTA's Public Notice is available on the DTE website.
