Over 44% seats of engineering courses remained vacant in 2023: Gujarat govt tells assembly

Over 44% of seats in Gujarat engineering colleges and self-financed institutes remained vacant in 2023. More than 32% of MBA and MCA seats were also vacant. Students opting for top engineering institutes and other courses contribute to the vacant seats.
