Private Schools in Delhi Ordered to Obtain Government Approval Before Increasing Fees

The Delhi government has issued a directive stating that private schools in the state, which have been officially recognized and allotted land by the government, must obtain permission before increasing their fees. These schools are required to seek approval from the Directorate of Education before implementing any fee hikes for the academic year 2024-25. The directive specifies that recognized private schools that have received land from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) cannot raise their fees without prior approval. Schools must adhere to the last approved fee structure or the fee statement they have submitted.
