Meghalaya and Nagaland students do not need CUET for college admission

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma announced that admissions to affiliated colleges of Central University in the state have been exempted from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for the academic year. This decision was made after the Union Education Ministry announced that Central Universities in Meghalaya and Nagaland would be exempted from CUET 2024, allowing students to be admitted as per prevailing practice.
