Bihar assembly passes bill to combat paper leaks and exam malpractices in recruitment exams

The Bihar assembly passed the Bihar Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Bill, 2024, to prevent question paper leaks and malpractices in state recruitment tests. The legislation includes penalties of three to five years' imprisonment and a Rs 10 lakh fine. Service providers face fines up to Rs 1 crore, debarment, and property attachment for violations.
