More than one lakh children failed in class IX, 50000 in Xl in Delhi govt schools

Over 1 lakh students failed class 9 in Delhi government schools in 2023-24, marking a rise compared to previous years. This comes after the cancellation of the "no-detention policy". Students who fail grades 5-8 will be given a chance to improve their performance through re-examination.
