NAAC introduces new Binary Accreditation system for colleges and universities in India, to be launched in September 2024

Starting in September, NAAC introduces binary accreditation based on Radhakrishnan Committee's recommendations. Anil D Sahasrabudhe emphasizes replacing peer visits with self-study reports and quantitative validation. It includes 10 attributes with metrics for universities, autonomous, and affiliated colleges, aiming for lower fees. National feedback is gathered, including from Bhubaneswar’s workshop in Eastern States.
