In response to safety concerns following the deaths of three civil service aspirants in Delhi, Patna DM Chandrashekhar Singh announced that coaching centres operating from basements will be sealed immediately. An inspection drive has revealed no such centres in Patna yet. Coaching institutes have one month to comply with registration rules, and measures are being taken to ensure student safety, including proper infrastructure and clear entry/exit points, as stated by Singh to PTI.
