UP Boosts Medical Education with 600 New MBBS Seats Across Five New Colleges

The Union Health Ministry has approved the start of MBBS programs at five new medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh, increasing the state's medical seats by 600. Medical colleges in Kanpur Dehat and Lalitpur also saw seat expansions. The total new MBBS seats for the 2024-25 session now stand at 1,200.
