Medical aspirants in Maharashtra faced disruptions in admissions to private medical and dental colleges after the Association of Managements of Unaided, Private Medical and Dental Colleges (AMUPMDC) stalled the process due to pending fee reimbursements. An urgent meeting has been called by the medical education department to resolve the issue, while the CET cell threatened legal action against colleges not completing admissions. Around 5,000 students are affected, with many seeking seat upgrades in the second round.
