DUSU Elections 2024: Delhi University Students' Union election results delayed by court order, vote counting begins

The counting of votes for Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections began on Monday, nearly two months after polling. The delay, caused by a Delhi High Court order, was due to election-related defacement. Twenty-one candidates are competing for four central posts, with key players including the RSS-backed ABVP, Congress's NSUI, and the Left's AISA and SFI. The election battle for the posts of president, vice president, secretary, and joint secretary is expected to be intense.
