West Bengal begins verification of 'untainted' teachers removed after 2016 SSC recruitment was scrapped

The West Bengal School Education department is checking applications. These applications are from teachers who had state government jobs. They lost their jobs after the 2016 SSC test issue. The Supreme Court allowed 'non-tainted' teachers to re-apply. The department has given district inspectors a three-day deadline. They must verify the applications.
