New international UG and PG enrolment falls in US and Canada this fall: What NAFSA survey reveals

New international undergraduate and postgraduate enrolment fell sharply in the US and Canada this fall, according to a NAFSA survey. US colleges reported a 6% drop in new bachelor’s and a 19% decline in new master’s students, while Canadian institutions saw decreases of 36% and 35%. Colleges plan budget cuts, online expansions, and new markets to address declining numbers, as reported by the Higher Ed Dive.
