CBSE cancels CTET 2026 Paper 2 at two centres amid exam chaos, re-examination soon

The Central Board of Secondary Education cancelled CTET 2026 Paper 2 at two examination centres after question papers arrived late, causing prolonged delays and unrest among candidates. While the test was held successfully at 1,801 centres nationwide, candidates at the affected centres faced disruption, protests and police intervention. CBSE termed the cancellation unavoidable and announced that a re-examination for impacted candidates would be conducted within 15 days, with schedules to be shared separately.
