Who is Dhiman Chakma? IAS officer accused of taking bribe, posted in revenue department

Odisha government reinstated 2021-batch IAS officer Dhiman Chakma, who was arrested in June 2025 for allegedly accepting a Rs 10 lakh bribe and possessing Rs 47 lakh in unaccounted cash. Despite an ongoing corruption case, Chakma has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, drawing criticism online.
