NTA defends ₹200 answer key challenge fee, says charge is to curb frivolous objections and prevent result delays

NTA has clarified why candidates must pay ₹200 per question to challenge an answer key, stating that the fee is intended to discourage baseless objections and prevent delays in result preparation. The agency said valid challenges are reviewed by experts, and accepted corrections are applied to all candidates. The fee is refunded when an objection is upheld.
