J&K DGP sanctions scholarships worth 19.62 lakh for 290 wards of serving police personnel. The scholarships are awarded to meritorious students who secured 80% and above marks in graduation/post-graduation exams. The scholarships range from Rs 6,000 to Rs 18,000 depending on the marks obtained.
